What is Digital Yuan?
Digital Yuan (e-CNY, 数字人民币) is China’s official Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), issued by the People’s Bank of China. Unlike WeChat Pay or Alipay, it has zero transaction fees and requires no ID verification for basic wallets.

Setting Up Digital Yuan
Step 1: Download the App

Step 2: Register
- Open app → Sign Up
- Enter phone number (210+ countries supported, including +1, +44, etc.)
- Enter SMS verification code
Step 3: Create Wallet
- Select Open/Add e-CNY Wallets
- Choose operating bank (ICBC, BOC, CCB, etc.)
- Wallet created!
💡 No passport or bank account needed! Just a phone number for anonymous wallets.
Step 4: Link a Card (Optional)
Link an international card to pay directly without pre-loading:
